Our Springfield, Ohio trucking terminal is officially open!
After a fire in 2023, our Springfield terminal was declared a total loss. Smoke and water damage destroyed the building and most of its contents, even tools.
Last week, our team came together in Ohio to celebrate the grand reopening of this state-of-the-art facility.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have everyone under one roof. We are happy to be able to provide a nice, new environment for our drivers; a home away from home,” said Springfield Terminal Leader Chelsey Driver.
Drivers were excited to check out the new terminal. The new, redefined space gives drivers a place to rest, regroup, and refuel. Our new soft seating lounge was a major hit!
Our Springfield, OH terminal features:
- Laundry facilities free of charge
- Vending machines
- On-site market
- Driver’s lounge
- 6 pet kennels
- 12 tractor bays
- Maintenance shop with quick inspection lane
- Fitness center
- Shower facilities
- Wash bay
- Classroom space
Beyond providing a top-tier experience for our drivers, the Springfield terminal also enhances our freight operations. The convenient central Ohio location provides access to key transportation routes in the Midwest, improving efficiency and supporting our continued growth in the region.
Senior VP of OTR Operations, Josh Smith was in attendance last week and shared his hopes on the reopening, “I’m eager to see the positive impact Springfield has on our operation. Not only will it provide a welcoming and supportive home for our drivers and support teams, but it showcases our resilience and character.”
